Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 10:41PM German Village Society has won a $5,000 grant from the Ohio Humanities Council to implement an oral history program that will capture stories from the people who made our neighborhood and Columbus' South End what it was and is today.

Saturday afternoon's Tea 43206 at German Village Guest House raised more than 50% more money this year than last to the tune of 15,476.66 to continue programs funded through the Fund for Historic Preservation. The Society is deeply grateful to Darci Congrove and John Pribble for throwing the Tea. Thanks also to Chris Hune for helping to plan the event and Christie Angel for helping coordinate Mayor Michael Coleman's visit.
